Puerto Rico is home, and it shapes how I think about beauty. Color is everywhere around us: bright buildings, tropical flowers, ocean blues, and sunset skies. I wanted my brand to feel expressive and joyful, with products people can make their own.
But Puerto Rico shaped more than the colors in my makeup bag. It shaped how I think about wear.
The heat here puts makeup to the test. I made the whole Marylia Scott Cosmetics line with extreme wear in mind because I wanted products created for real days in Puerto Rico, not just a quick photo or a perfect-weather moment. That thinking runs through the line, from adding color and definition to taking your makeup off at the end of the day.
A Line Built Around Real Life
Every product has its own purpose, and the line is meant to fit into different routines and different kinds of days:
